Scout's Top 40

The current chart

From June 21 the weekly charts are in a test mode for a while. 

This means there is no guarantee that I can compile charts on

a weekly basis as songs from the list can hardly be accessed on

Hungarian radio.

This is due to the abberated state of Hungarian radio and media market

controlled by the ruling government. 

Mainstream/CHR Top 40 radio has been stopped in Hungary for several 

years so there is no way to listen to current pop music, only

FIDESZ/government propaganda and boring overrated 20-40 year-old

smash hits - in addition,  half of them are Hungarian. 

This way, it is impossible to compile Top 40 charts anymore without 

going online and use spotify or youtube as primary sources, which 

I wouldn't like to do.

Scout's Top 40 has been running over 25 years and I would like to 

continue but I can only do that if things change radically. 

I hope there will be a quick solution to this problem. Until then,
